PUBLIC WARNING! Japanese Encephalitis Quickly Spreading Around The Philippines! These Are The Symptoms of the Disease!

Japanese Encephalitis is a kind of a vector borne disease carried by insects commonly by mosquitos.


The disease was rapidly spreading in the Philippines, many people reportedly died of the said disease.


Recently, a 3-year-old girl named Alexine T. Canda passed away because of the disease. Japanese Encephalitis is claimed to be more dangerous than dengue. The girl suffered high fever, vomiting, diarrhea, and other body pain in her last breath. It is said that the disease has no cure yet but can be prevented through a vaccine. The girl died within 24 hours after showing symptoms. She became brain dead because of the mosquito bite before she passed away.


Here are the symptoms of the disease.
  • Headache
  • High fever
  • Vomiting
  • Difficulties in moving
Here are the people who are more prone to get bitten by a mosquito.
  • Pregnant- because they produce more carbon dioxide.
  • Sweaty- because mosquitos attract to bad odor.
  • Alcoholic- because of the heat produced by alcohol
  • Blood Type O- Research says that this type of blood tends to be more frequent to get bitten by the mosquito. (Blood Type A has the smallest chance to get bitten)
Based on research, mosquitos also attracted to dark places, trees, grass, and other dark places. So if you are wearing dark shirt especially navy blue and black, you have more chance to get bitten.
