Ride-hailing apps are the new trend nowadays such as Grab and Uber which you can book your ride to get you and bring you to your destination, it is widely used all over the world but in this case it is GrabBike which instead of a taxi you will book a motorbike, it doesn't widely use such as grab and it is only used by limited countries, including Indonesia.
A 17-year-old Salma Zuhara booked a GrabBike and has been shocked who the driver is. Salma is using GrabBike for quite a time and this is the most shocking ride of her life, she just met her long-lost dad.
Her parents had divorced a long time ago. Because of this, for over 10 years, she hasn't seen her father because he left after the divorce was finalized and they lived with the care of their mother.
Sometimes the children ask their mother about their dad and the only response of the mother is she doesn't know and she only knew that her father that he went from one place to another and she doesn't step his foot in their house anymore.
"I went home from school and ordered a GrabBike. I then got a driver. I wasn't paying attention at first. When the driver arrived, I looked at him, it turned out he was my papa," The girl later posted on social media
"For your information, my mama and papa divorced a long time ago and we hadn't heard from him since. Now, God arranged our meeting like this. I'm so moved after not seeing my papa for years." She added
But the meeting wasn't all that happy. Because Salma shows mixed emotions, thinking about what happened in the past and the two awkwardly talk to each other, considering the circumstances, although Salma shared that they had a few talks about school.
They missed a lot of events to each other so they have a lot of catching up to do so Salma gave him her phone number so they can keep in touch, Hoping he wouldn't be lost from her life again and start things all over again.
